Ducky's Park Farm provides a fun 'all weather' day out for all the family, but excluding dogs.

Lakeland Miniature Village

The Lakeland Miniature Village is full of miniature examples of Lakeland buildings over the years constructed from Coniston slate including the Oriental Garden and Oriental tea-house.

These miniature buildings are of Cumbrian houses and farms including those of Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter. There is a replica of Slater's Bridge with the adjoining Clapper Bridge (Little Langdale) spanning over 50 ft long. All the buildings are lovingly hand crafted by Edward Robinson. No machinery is used - only hand tools.

The model village has been growing over the last 24 years, but it will be a few years yet before it is completed. Open from 10.30am - 5.00pm. 7 days a week from the 1st March to the 31st October.

The Cumbria Steam Gathering
Held on Cark Airfield in Flookburgh this colourful and noisy 2 day summer event is held at the end of July each year. For more than 35 years the Cumbria Steam & Vintage Vehicle Society has been bringing together vintage and steam vehicles from across the world with a whole assortment of features and events including auto jumble, traditional craft displays, ploughing, bands, magic shows and a host more!
